Errand Days and Matcha Breaks at Cafe Kayman, Baguio

2016-10-19 Cafe Kayman

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ปStory

Some cafรฉ visits arenโ€™t plannedโ€”they just find you.

It started with an errand run with my sister. We were out and about, ticking off our to-do list when we spotted Cafe Kayman, tucked inside a quiet corner of Abanao Square. It looked small but inviting, and since we both love discovering new chill spots (especially ones with matcha on the menu)โ€”we went in.

What made this cafรฉ even more unique? It was paired with the Little Nibblers Fish Spaโ€”a playful twist you donโ€™t usually find with your coffee. The vibe was calm, slightly quirky, and totally refreshing.

We took a break from the errands and treated ourselves to some greens and matcha. A well-deserved pause.

I loved it so much I came back alone a few days later – just me, my planner, and another tall glass of green bliss.

โ˜• What We Ordered

  • ๐Ÿต Matcha Frappe โ€“ Cold, creamy, and comfortingโ€”our go-to whenever we spot it on a menu.
  • ๐Ÿฅ— Kaymanโ€™s Green Salad โ€“ Crisp, fresh, and surprisingly satisfying. Light, yet packed with flavor.

Sometimes, you donโ€™t need a full mealโ€”just a drink and a moment to breathe.

It wasnโ€™t about a birthday or a celebration this time. It was about pausing. Being still. Sipping matcha while sitting quietly with someone you loveโ€”or even with just your own thoughts.

These quiet, in-between moments matter too.
