Zoobic Safari Experience: Animal Encounters in the Philippines

Christmas Night in Pampanga

After a delicious dinner and an adventure at Clark Safari, we checked into Gerlyโ€™s Place Hotel and Resort in Pampanga. Then, we enjoyed a relaxing swim in the hotelโ€™s pool. It was the perfect way to unwind after a festive day.

An Exciting Day at Zoobic Safari

Next morning, we set off for Zoobic Safari โ€” the only tiger safari in the Philippines! Located in the heart of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone forest, this 25-hectare adventure park offers a thrilling and educational experience with wild animals up close.

Unlike traditional zoos, Zoobic gives guests a rare chance to interact closely with exotic animals while learning about their habitats and conservation. Competent tour guides share valuable information to promote awareness and respect for wildlife. It truly felt like we were on a real jungle safari! (source: Zoobic Safari)

First Stop: Zoobic Park

After getting our tickets, we kicked off the tour at Zoobic Park. For safety, masks were still required. We began with the bird section, where we had a blast feeding colourful birds.

Many animals were free to roam, and we could reach out and pet some of them. We saw deer, bears, monkeys, an eagle, ducks, guinea pigs, an ostrich, zebras, and more. Feeding the tortoises was extra funโ€”they were surprisingly strong and had big appetites! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Tiger Safari Adventure

Next came the highlightโ€”an adrenaline-filled ride through the Tiger Safari. We hopped on a caged safari jeep and drove through an enclosure with free-roaming tigers just inches away. It was both thrilling and unforgettable!

Brave Walk at Croco Loco

This part gave us chills! We crossed a steel-grated walkway above a pit full of crocodiles. At first, they looked like statues, but as soon as chicken meat was dangled nearby, they sprang to life, snapping jaws and powerful movements.

Slithering Creatures in the Serpentarium

No jungle is complete without snakes, and the Serpentarium. We saw snakes from around the world, plus lizards, iguanas, turtles, and more exotic reptiles.

Close Encounters with Big Cats

Another memorable moment was the up-close experience with big cats. We saw tigers and lions in special enclosures and even fed a baby white tiger with a bottle of milk. He loved itโ€”and so did we!

Animal Talent Show

We were lucky to catch a lively animal show featuring pigs, birds, and other trained animals. It was fun watching them show off their tricks!

Final Thoughts

Our Christmas wildlife getaway at Zoobic Safari was truly unforgettable. We loved being so close to the animals, and it was great to see them living in open spaces rather than small cages.

This trip gave us joy, adventure, and beautiful memories. Until our next holiday escapeโ€”thanks for coming along! ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒฒ
