Hi, I’m Kate, but most people affectionately call me “little girl” or “Katy,” a playful nod to my petite size. That’s how LittleKaty was born: a name that feels just as personal and lighthearted as my approach to life.
Welcome to Stitch the Trail, where I combine my two lifelong passions: capturing memories and transforming them into cross-stitch patterns inspired by my bucket list.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to documenting life. It started with snapping photos. Sunsets, coffee cups, street corners, smiles and evolved into filling notebooks with thoughts, dreams, and reflections.

- 🪡 Cross Stitch: This is my calm, joy, and art. Designing patterns lets me slow down and savour each memory.
- 🌱 Nature: I find so much inspiration in the natural world. Flowers, forests, sea breezes, and skies.
- 🧵 Crafts: When I’m not exploring, I’m at home making something. Cross-stitching, journaling, or trying (sometimes failing) new recipes.
Some of the posts and patterns I share might reflect past experiences, but every stitch still holds a piece of the moment that inspired it. This blog is a love letter to slow living, creativity, and the wild, wonderful ride of chasing dreams, one pattern at a time.
