Hi, I’m Kate — but most people affectionately call me “little girl” or “Katy,” a playful nod to my petite size. That’s how LittleKaty was born: a name that feels just as personal and lighthearted as my approach to life.
Welcome to Stitch the Trail, my creative space where I bring together two lifelong loves: capturing memories and turning them into cross-stitch patterns inspired by my bucket list.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to documenting life. It started with snapping photos — sunsets, coffee cups, street corners, smiles — and evolved into filling notebooks with thoughts, dreams, and reflections.

Stitch the Trail is where I share my journey of ticking off my bucket list — not just with a camera, but also a needle and thread. Each pattern I design is inspired by something I’ve done, dreamed of, or hope to do – iconic places, meaningful quotes, whimsical travel memories, or even just the feeling of standing on top of a mountain or trying a weird local dish. I turn those experiences into cross-stitch patterns so others can stitch a little piece of the world with me.
It’s more than a craft blog — a visual diary, a travelogue, and a slow, creative journey through life.

- 🧵 Crafts: When I’m not exploring, I’m at home making something — cross-stitching, journaling, or trying (sometimes failing) new recipes.
Some of the posts and patterns I share might reflect past experiences, but every stitch still holds a piece of the moment that inspired it. This blog is a love letter to slow living, creativity, and the wild, wonderful ride of chasing dreams — one pattern at a time.
