While my sister and I were searching for job opportunities in a new city, our parents accompanied us on a long road trip. Hungry and road-weary, we pulled over at Silverio’s Seafood and Restaurant—a quaint lakeside restobar with nipa hut-style dining areas and even a pet monkey hanging around. We sat in one of the huts, enjoying the cool breeze and the sound of a live band rehearsing.
☕ What We Ordered
We had bangus sisig—Dagupan’s pride—served with a tangy seaweed and tomato salad. For dessert, halo-halo came served in a coconut shell and topped with creamy ice cream. It was the perfect tropical escape mid-journey.
