😌 Finally, a Night Off!
After a long week at work, we finally got a break! My colleagues and I decided to make the most of our evening with a spontaneous visit to King Abdullah Park in Al Ahsa. It was just a short 15–20-minute drive from our workplace, and the best part? No entrance fee at all—completely FREE!
✨ Lights, Laughter… but No Fountain?
We arrived around 8:00 PM, full of excitement and hoping to catch the famous musical dancing fountain. But when we got there, the place was quiet—just soft lights twinkling along the paths and in the trees. The fountain wasn’t dancing, the music wasn’t playing, and we were… a little disappointed.
We found out that the fountain show had already ended. 😔 Still, we decided not to waste the night. We strolled around, soaked in the ambiance, and took tons of pictures.
🎶 A Magical Turn of Events
Just when we thought the night had peaked… we heard music in the distance. Then ALAS!—the fountain came alive!
🧺 Bucket List #22: Dancing Fountain Show
Out of nowhere, the lights started moving to the rhythm, the water jets shot up into the sky, and music filled the air. We were ecstatic! It felt like the show had come back just for us. Whether it was an encore or just good timing, we didn’t care—we were just happy to be there, smiling and cheering like kids. Another one checked off my bucket list — and it almost didn’t happen!
🍕 Pizza, Pasta, and More Fun @ Petit Paris
When the show ended after two or three songs, our stomachs started growling. We headed to THE VALLEY and found ourselves dining at Petit Paris. The vibe was cozy, the food was comforting, and the pasta and pizza hit just the right spot. The pasta was creamy and really delicious.
❤️ Bonding, Laughs, and A Night to Remember
That simple night turned into something special. We laughed, took silly pictures, shared stories over dinner, and made another memory outside the stress of work.
It reminded me that even a short trip, with no fancy plans or big budgets, can be unforgettable—especially when you’re with people who lift your spirits.
📌 Final Thoughts
If you’re ever in Al Ahsa and looking for something simple yet magical to do at night, King Abdullah Environmental Park is worth the visit—especially if you catch the fountain show. And if not? The lights and the vibe are still worth the stroll. Pair it with good food, and it’s the perfect stress-free escape.
